This is a good remake of HRtP, new attacks (more variety appreciated), dialogs (lets see what part of canon/fanon Idunno is in). More refined physics of the ball and walls, more characters to play as. I have some problems with it, but they stem from me playing original HRtP a lot and being used to its physics and hitboxes (why is yuugenmagan the bs boss here, in original i can no health lost it)
Also I guess if you're really used to the original YuugenMagan, the new one could throw you off since I changed some of its moves (though most of that was done to make it easier, so funny that it ended up harder)
There's so many great things I could say about this, so I'll just mention a few. I am gonna ramble though. Firstly, the new arranges of the OST are great and set the tone of the game really well. Props to Dragoneex for making the Hell Stage 6 theme actually enjoyable to listen to (imo). I love the metal theme they gave to Strawberry Crisis and Sailor of Time. The music room comments are also very ZUN-esque (lol). Then there's the gameplay. It's way smoother than the original, especially with the limited framerate of the PC-98, while still being very faithful to the original. Controlling the ball is so much easier, and bombing is way more consistent thanks to it only being one key. Yuuka is slower and weaker, but being immune to bullets from above and having a wide shot pattern makes her more forgiving to play - I find that she's pretty fun to play with. The sprite work is also fantastic; I especially love what you did with M and F Singyoku (by the way I love the spawning-extra-orbs attack it does). Can't wait to see what the rest of the bosses look like, as well as their fancy new dialogue.
Also props for adding Yumemi, she's also my favourite character :D
I have no real complaints or constructive feedback, so sorry. But I would love to see some kind of dialogue with Singyoku. Anyway, good luck with development, this a very promising demo to me!

This was good and my I like the new characters. Yuuka's shot made the game easier for me. Keep up this good remake.
Overall, it's an excellent remake. It really feels like a modernized HRtP, without altering the original essence.
I only have two recommendations:
- Add autofire, it would really add a lot even though the original doesn't have it.
- The dash should be able to “correct” the trajectory if the player wants it to. Many deaths feel unfair precisely because of this problem.
I'd also like to add that I think the song remixes are fantastic!!
I Love Mima

Still an enjoyable game
Thank you
